Job Position: Head Manufacturing.
Position Location: Terrace Bay, ON Ontario.
The position shall report to “President & Unit Head”. The successful candidate shall be responsible to manufacturing process that includes to “Maintenance and Productions” function of the company, ensuring effective and efficient usage of resources and people.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Production Targets: To oversees manufacturing function and meeting production targets by aligning resources in effective and efficient manner on consistent basis.
Plant Reliability: To ensure plant reliability by preventive and effective maintenance system by developing & empowering teams for maintenance planning, spare management, practicing problem solving tools and developing ownership culture in the company.
Cost Optimization: Reviews production reports & operating performance and develop plans to act upon bad actors to optimize manufacturing cost within target limits.
Resource Planning: to facilitate operation and maintenance teams and guide to resource planning and achieve defined targets and performances of the company.
Work Culture: Creating a healthy and safe work environment and meeting federal and state regulations compliances through collaboration with environmental, health and safety staff.
People Development: through skill mapping and identifying training needs for staff and crew to build a knowledge power house within the company.
Budgeting: Develop operation and maintenance yearly / monthly budgets Chief Operating Officer-AVTB / Financial Officer-Pulp in line of production targets, monitoring and achieving them to develop operating budget.
Assists chief operating officer with long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 15-20 years experience in Process Industry with 5 years in pulp manufacturing is must.
Minimum 10 years of experience at Senior Management or Executive level.
High level of integrity and conviction.
Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities.
Language requirement: English.
Salary Range- 150k-200k
